Product Details

Scalloped border guipure chemical lace fabric is a white openwork lace fabric with an embroidered scalloped edge running along the selvedge, supplied to bridalwear brands, evening dress manufacturers, garment producers, and lace wholesalers. The finished border means the hem, neckline, or panel edge is already decorated when the piece is cut, so no separate trim has to be sourced or applied.

MH produces this lace on water-soluble chemical embroidery ground, where the backing dissolves after stitching and leaves the floral motifs standing on their own. Border layouts, motif scale, and the depth of the scallop can all be developed to a buyer's design, and the same pattern can be run in dyed-to-order shades for seasonal collections.

The fabric is made from 100% polyester and supplied at 130cm wide, an extra-wide cut that lets pattern pieces such as skirt panels and full gown fronts be placed in one width. It ships roll packed, and colors beyond the standard white are available on request for bulk production.

Features

  • Scalloped embroidered border — one edge arrives finished, so hems, sleeve openings, and panel edges need no additional trim or binding.
  • Water-soluble guipure ground — the dissolving backing leaves open, self-supporting motifs with a clean reverse side that needs no lining to look tidy.
  • Extra-wide 130cm cut — full skirt and bodice panels can be placed within a single width, reducing seams and yardage waste.
  • 100% polyester construction — holds motif shape through handling and garment production, and takes dyeing consistently across repeat orders.
  • Border-and-field layout — the same piece supplies both decorated edging and all-over lace body, simplifying material planning for one garment.
  • Dyed-to-order color range — the pattern can be produced in customer shades rather than limited to the standard white run.

Application

  • Bridalwear — Used by wedding dress manufacturers and bridal brands for gown hems, veil edges, overskirts, and bodice overlays.
  • Evening and occasion wear — Popular with formal dress producers for full-length panels, sleeve inserts, and finished skirt borders.
  • Womenswear production — Sourced by garment manufacturers and apparel suppliers for blouse fronts, dress yokes, and decorative sleeve sections.
  • Lace distribution — Supplied to lace fabric wholesalers and garment accessory distributors reselling border lace by the roll.
  • Fashion accessories — A regular pick for accessory suppliers producing bolero tops, capes, and decorative panels.

Customization Service

  • Color development — shades matched to buyer references or seasonal palettes, produced to order rather than picked from a fixed range.
  • Pattern and motif design — floral and geometric motifs developed to a buyer's artwork, including scale and repeat spacing.
  • Border depth and layout — the scalloped edge can be widened, narrowed, or repeated on both selvedges depending on the garment.
  • Width options — cut widths adjusted around the standard 130cm to suit a buyer's marker and cutting setup.
  • Thread and ground material — alternative embroidery yarns can be specified where a different hand feel or luster is required.
  • Packing format — roll length and packing arrangement adapted to a buyer's warehouse and cutting-room handling.

Why Source From MH

  • In-house lace production — MH runs its own embroidery and chemical lace lines, so border layouts and motif changes are handled directly rather than through a third party.
  • Sampling and OEM-ODM support — design files are turned into lab-dips and sample lengths for approval before bulk production starts.
  • Bulk supply capability — repeat lace programs are produced on a continuous basis with color consistency maintained across orders.
  • Export experience — MH ships lace fabric to garment and bridal markets worldwide, with documentation and inspection handled in house.
