Feature: Braided elastic is often used for applications that require better quality material in narrow widths. Our braided elastic is comprised of industrial strength latex rubber with a fiber covering (cotton elastic, polyester elastic or nylon elastic). Regardless of the covering material, all braided elastic performs the same; it gets narrower when stretched, but always returns to normal size thanks to its excellent stretch retention (sometimes called “memory”).
Application: Braided elastic has great stretch retention and many apparel industry uses, like sporting goods, bags, and swimsuits.
