What 300D/1 gives you on the machine
300D/1 is the heaviest count in MH’s textured overlock range. At Tex 35 and ticket 80 it carries the same ticket number as 150D/2 but as a single textured filament, so it lays a wider, softer cover over a heavy seam instead of a harder twisted one.
Wide seam coverage on heavy knits
The air-textured filament bulks out in the looper, so a 300D/1 overlock closes the raw edge of fleece, heavy jersey and terry without the needle line showing through.
Stretches with the fabric
DTY recovers after extension, so seams on underwear, leggings and sportswear move with the garment instead of popping at the overlock — the failure mode buyers return goods for.
Runs fast, costs less per garment
Continuous filament means no lint build-up and few breaks at high looper speed, and polyester DTY is the cheapest way to cover a heavy seam. It also resists the chemicals used in garment washing and dyeing.

What is the MOQ for 300D/1 overlock thread?
The minimum order is 360 cones per colour. Orders also need to reach a minimum order value of USD 3,000; for West Africa the minimum order value is USD 5,000.
How long is the lead time?
25 to 35 days from deposit and colour approval. New colour matching adds the dyeing and approval cycle.
What cone lengths can I order?
Any length between 1,000 and 20,000 yds, or specified by weight between 0.5 and 2.0 kg per cone. Cartons hold 20 to 80 cones depending on the cone size you choose.
Can I get a sample before ordering?
Yes — message us on WhatsApp with your shade reference and we will arrange sample cones.
Which count should I use for lighter fabric?
150D/1 (Tex 18, ticket 160) for normal fabric and 200D/1 (Tex 21, ticket 110) for medium thickness. 300D/1 is the heavy-thickness option.
What is the difference between 300D/1 and 150D/2?
Both are Tex 35 and ticket 80. 300D/1 is a single heavier textured filament that gives softer, wider seam cover; 150D/2 is two plies twisted together and sits harder in the seam. For elastic and heavy knits, buyers usually take 300D/1.
